Hello, I'm Shaleen

I'm a service designer based in London. My design journey began in the visual world, but I quickly realised I wanted to understand not just how things looked, but how they worked for the people using them. This led me to pursue a Master's in User Experience Design at Kingston University.

For me, good service design is about giving people time back so they can focus on what truly matters.

I've carried this philosophy across my work in both public and private sectors, spanning different industries and challenges.

I love the complexity of mapping problems, end-to-end journeys and moving between the big picture and the details. Powers of Ten™ (1977) sparked this fascination and drew me to service design, where I can work at every scale of the user experience.

When I'm not designing and solving problems, you'll find me doing pottery or immersed in games, both of which have taught me more about iteration, patience, and problem-solving than I ever expected.
