As a Service Designer on DEFRA’s Accredited Trusted Trader Scheme (ATTS), I led the design of the
Checks Away from Border pilot.

The goal was to explore how trusted traders could conduct certain biosecurity checks away from the physical border, thereby reducing friction in trade while maintaining compliance and control.
